-- The City is developing a more comprehensive recreation program for the city to help add to the quality of life we enjoy in Mitchellville. Please join us in this important process.

We are working to getting more summer opportunities for Mitchellville Youth. In order to make this work, we need the help of volunteers like you! If you have an idea for a program and/or wish to volunteer, please contact Kris May at 515-967-2935.

The City of Mitchellville has two city parks that include three baseball/softball diamonds and two youth soccer fields. There is also an outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball court, and tennis courts. City Park has two shelters available for rent. Please call City Hall at 967-2935 for reservations and more information.
