Clean-Up Information

You may begin placing items on your curb a week before the date of pick-up. This is only offered to residential properties on the city's garbage services. Anything left on the curb must be removed by the property owner within 48 hours of pick-up day.

Scrap Tire Drop-Off Information

Drop-off takes place at the Public Works Shop (201 Cotton Ave. N., Mitchellville, IA 50169) from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm ONLY!

Only residential passenger and truck tires will be accepted. Each household will be allowed to deposit a MAXIMUM of five (5) scrap tires - OFF RIMS. 

NOT ALLOWED:

Scrap tires generated by any business

Large Semi-trailer tires

Farm or tractor tires

Solid tires such as lawnmower, forklift, or golf cart tires

Tires containing hazardous materials

Stockpiled tires, only for residential customers
