The City of Mitchellville has two city parks that include three baseball/softball diamonds, an outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball, disc golf course, 4 cornhole courts, axe throwing arena, and playground. The park also has two outdoor shelters that include picnic tables and charcoal grills.
